A video showing three Muslim children being assaulted and forced to chant “Jai Shri Ram” has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage.
According to reports from Indian media, the incident took place in the Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh. The video depicts a 16-year-old boy brutally beating three minors aged 6, 11, and 13.
In the footage, the teenager is seen slapping the children multiple times before using flip-flops to hit them. Despite the terrified cries of the children, the aggressor showed no compassion. Instead, he hurled obscene remarks at the minors and demanded their parents’ phone numbers.
The incident has raised concerns due to its overt display of religious intolerance, with many condemning the act as a disturbing reflection of growing hostility.
Why the Video Has Sparked Concern
Reports reveal that the three minors had mentioned the name “Allah,” which enraged the 16-year-old. He immediately began assaulting them, demanding they chant “Jai Shri Ram.” When the children initially refused, the teenager became even more aggressive, using his slippers to continue the assault until the children complied.
When Did the Incident Occur?
The assault reportedly occurred about a month ago but only came to light after the video surfaced on social media. The viral clip has prompted widespread criticism and concern across various sectors of society.
